How to prepare

BBQ chicken
  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

  2. Rub the chickens with vegetable oil.

  3. Mix salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder and cayenne pepper in a bowl. Rub this seasoning mixture over the chickens.

  4. Combine apple cider vinegar and water in a spray bottle.

  5. Place the chickens on the grill, breast side up. Cover and cook for about 45 minutes.

  6. Spray the chickens with the vinegar and water mixture every 15 minutes.

  7. Turn the chickens over and grill for another 30–45 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 75°C.

  8. Remove the chickens from the grill and let them rest for 10 minutes before serving. Serve with Alabama White Sauce on the side.

Potato salad
  1. Chop the boiled and cold potatoes into bite-sized pieces.

  2. In a large bowl, add Alabama white BBQ sauce with the chopped celery and red onion.

  3. Gently fold in the potatoes until they are well coated with the dressing.

  4. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

  5. Garnish with fresh parsley when serving.

Pickles
  1. Rinse and cut the veggies and put them in a large bowl.

  2. Add pickling spice mix and stir with a spoon to combine all the ingredients. Let it sit in the covered bowl in a fridge for 15 minutes or until the pickling mix is dissolved.
