Veggie Tikka Tacos

Indian flavours of tikka masala and cool raita in a brand new wrapping.

Ingredients

Veggie Tikka Tacos
  • 1 kg halloumi, diced

  • 2 limes, juice

  • 60 g Santa Maria Tikka Masala Spice Mix

  • 6 tbsp maizena or potato starch

  • 0.5 dl oil

  • 150 g mixed lettuce

  • 2 red onions, shredded

  • 200 g tomatoes, in wedges

  • 16 g Santa Maria Raita Spice Mix

  • 4 dl natural yoghurt

Egg dipped tortillas
  • 6 eggs

  • 20 Santa Maria Tortilla 6""

  • 2 tbsp oil for frying

How to prepare

  1. Put the halloumi pieces in a bowl and squeeze the lime juice over them. Add Santa Maria Tikka Masala Spice mix and put the bowl aside.

  2. Mix yoghurt with Santa Maria Raita Spice mix. Whisk the eggs in a separate bowl by using a fork. Dip the tortillas in the eggs and fry them on both sides at medium heat.

  3. Put the tortillas on a plate and cover it with tin foil.

  4. Add maizena to the halloumi pieces and fry them in plenty of oil at medium heat.

  5. Load each tortilla med veggies and halloumi. Finish with raita.
