Paneer Cha-Kati Roll

Paneer comes from the north of India. It’s a non-aged, non-melting soft cheese that compliments Indian cuisine perfectly due it’s consistency and versatility. This dish heroes Paneer which has been pan fried in our Kerala Spice Mix for a rich & aromatic taste. It’s vibrant, fresh and packed full of flavour.

Ingredients

Number of portions
  • 1 Elephant Atta Chapatti

  • 1/4 Egg

  • 30 ml Milk

  • 100 g Kerala Paneer

  • 10 ml Oil

  • 10 g Spinach

  • 20 g Tandoori mayo

  • 15 g Mango jalapeño glaze

  • 20 g Pickled red onion

  • 2 g Coriander

  • 2 g Bhujia

For Mango Jalapeño Glaze:

  • 200 g Santa Maria Mango Chutney

  • 75 ml Water

  • 20 g Santa Maria Green Jalapeños

For Tandoori Mayo:

  • 100 g Mayonnaise

  • 5 g Santa Maria Tandoori Spice Mix

How to prepare

• Dip chapatti in egg and milk mix and pan fry until golden brown
• Rub oil and Kerala seasoning on paneer and pan fry for 5 minutes or until browned
• In the chapatti layer spinach, paneer and pickled red onion then drizzle with tandoori mayo and mango jalapeño glaze
• Garnish with coriander and bhujia
