Meatloaf with Sweet Chili Sauce

Appetising meatloaf with Sweet Chili Sauce and a nice mix of spices.


Number of portions
  • 1 kg minced meat

  • 2 dl milk

  • 1 dl rolled oats

  • 90 g onion, chopped

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 2 ml Santa Maria Black Pepper, ground

  • 1 tbsp Santa Maria Marjoram

  • 2 tsp Santa Maria Thyme

  • 2 tsp Santa Maria Umami

  • 3 tbsp Santa Maria Sweet Chili Sauce

  • 2 tbsp ketchup

  • 2 tbsp water

  • 1 msk soy sauce

How to prepare

  1. Mix all ingredients for the coating. 

  2. Set the over for 160˚C.

  3. Let the oats swell in the milk. 

  4. Mix all ingredients (except the coating). 

  5. Make a meat loaf and put it on a buttered gastro tray. 

  6. Brush the meat loaf with the sweet chili coating. 

  7. Bake in the oven for about 40 minutes until the inner temperature is 70˚C.

  8. Serve with potatoes, cream sauce and lingonberry jam.


Meatloaf is easy to vary with different spices and seasonings. Try it with sun-dried tomatoes and herb seasonings.
