Meatloaf with Sweet Chili Sauce
1 kg minced meat
2 dl milk
1 dl rolled oats
90 g onion, chopped
1 tsp salt
2 ml Santa Maria Black Pepper, ground
1 tbsp Santa Maria Marjoram
2 tsp Santa Maria Thyme
2 tsp Santa Maria Umami
3 tbsp Santa Maria Sweet Chili Sauce
2 tbsp ketchup
2 tbsp water
1 msk soy sauce
How to prepare
Mix all ingredients for the coating.
Set the over for 160˚C.
Let the oats swell in the milk.
Mix all ingredients (except the coating).
Make a meat loaf and put it on a buttered gastro tray.
Brush the meat loaf with the sweet chili coating.
Bake in the oven for about 40 minutes until the inner temperature is 70˚C.
Serve with potatoes, cream sauce and lingonberry jam.
Meatloaf is easy to vary with different spices and seasonings. Try it with sun-dried tomatoes and herb seasonings.
