Persian cold mint sauce

A must on the meze table as a condiment and popular dipping sauce, with minty freshness and mild garlic flavour! Sprinkle over some dried mint as an extra touch.

Ingredients

Mint sauce
  • 700 ml natural yoghurt

  • 1 cucumber, peeled and finely diced

  • 2 cloves of garlic, finely crushed

  • 2 tsp Santa Maria Mint

  • 1 tsp Santa Maria Rock Salt, to taste

How to prepare

  1. Mix yoghurt, cucumber, garlic and mint.

  2. Season with salt.

  3. Garnish with mint.
