Baked Feta 4-3

Salsa Baked Feta Cheese

A simple, but tasty, warm side dish.


Number of portions
  • 500 ml Santa Maria Chunky Salsa

  • 300 ml water

  • 150 ml olive oil

  • 50 ml honey, liquid

  • 2 g Santa Maria Oregano

  • 2 g Santa Maria Rosemary

  • 1 kg feta cheese, in 100 g cubes

  • 150 g pine nuts

  • 150 ml honey, liquid

  • 50 g fresh basil

How to prepare

  1. Preheat oven to 280°C.

  2. Mix the ingredients for the sauce.

  3. Pour the sauce into 10 small ovenproof portion bowls.

  4. Place one cube of feta into each bowl.

  5. Pour honey over the cheese and sprinkle with pine nuts.

  6. Bake the cheese on high heat, approximately 10 minutes, until the edges are golden and the sauce simmer.

  7. Garnish with leaves of fresh basil and serve with bread or nachos.


This dish is perfect as one out of several in a sharing meal.
