Smashburger with corn snacks

A smashed burger deserves some crunchy snacks next to it – perhaps even in it.


Number of portions
  • 1 kg coarsely ground rib mince 

  • 2 tsp salt 

  • 2 tsp Santa Maria Tellicherry Black Pepper    

  • 100 g Santa Maria Snack Base Corn Cones  

  • 250 ml Santa Maria BBQ Sauce Bourbon Whiskey 

  • 10 slices of cheddar cheese 

  • 10 bacon slices 

  • 10 burger buns 

  • 10 slice tomato 

  • 100 g pickled red onion 

  • 150 g pickled cucumber 

How to prepare

  1. Shape 10 patties from the mince and season with salt and pepper just before grilling. 

  2. Grill the burgers for about 3 minutes on each side, until the inner temperature is 72°C.  Add the cheese and let it melt. 

  3. Grill the bacon crispy. 

  4. Toast the burger buns carefully. 

  5. Build your burgers with BBQ sauce at the bottom and then tomato. Add the patty, bacon and a little more BBQ sauce before topping with pickled onions and cucumber.
