YOUR NEW TOP-CLASS OPTION

This is the Taste of Harvest

As coffee is a natural product just like wine, the very best harvest comes from one place at the moment, but probably from another part of the world next year. That’s what Taste of Harvest is about. This label brings a limited batch of the best coffee right now – sourced by Paulig’s certified Q graders and roasted with passion at the Robert Paulig Roastery.

Harvest no.1 is now available

This season’s best harvest is from the highest slopes of El Páramo in Costa Rica. It’s sun-ripe caturra and catuaì beans that have been processed by using a lactic and anaerobic fermentation method. Then roasted carefully to get a medium roast that’s perfectly suitable for filter brewing. We only have a limited batch of this unique coffee, so try it now or never.

BALANCED AND TROPICAL

The taste of Harvest no.1

Much thanks to the special fermentation method, this coffee brings unique flavours and aromas, like fresh acidity and notes of tropical fruits. By roasting it slowly, we reduce the acidity to a comfortable level and bring a nice body to the coffee.

Brewing guide for Harvest no.1

The Taste of Harvest coffee from Costa Rica is created for filter brewing. We recommend using one of the following methods.
  • CHEMEX

Makes a remarkably clean cup of coffee to clearly showcase the taste notes of Costa Rica and the lactic fermentation.

  • HARIO V60

This method also provides clear flavours and aromas that allow people to enjoy the most subtle nuances of Harvest no.1.

  • FILTER COFFEE MACHINES

A filter coffee machine makes a heavier cup with more body as the brewing time is longer. But it still captures the unique flavours.

  • AUTOMATIC COFFEE MACHINES

You can also use a fully automatic machine. It will provide more body, higher acidity and a longer aftertaste from your Taste of Harvest coffee.
