Bulgogi Meatballs with Stir-Fried Noodles

Juicy Korean meatballs with the typical bulgogi flavours, stir-fried noodles and greens.

Ingredients

Number of portions
  • 1 kg ground beef

  • 2 eggs

  • 100 ml breadcrumbs

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 2 tbsp Santa Maria Chili & Sesame Seasoning

  • 1 tbsp Santa Maria onion powder.

  • 300 ml Santa Maria Black pepper & Soy Sauce

  • 500 g Santa Maria Egg Noodles

  • 200 g red bell pepper, sliced

  • 400 g fresh spinach

  • 200 g yellow onion, thinly sliced

  • 150 g Santa Maria Fermented Soy & Chili Paste

  • 100 g scallions, thinly sliced

  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds, roasted

How to prepare

  1. Whisk the eggs and mix with salt, breadcrumbs, Sesame & Chili Seasoning, and finally the ground beef. Shape the mixture into slightly larger meatballs, to make three balls enough for every portion.

  2. Fry the meatballs in oil until browned, mix in Black Pepper & Soy Sauce and stir. Let the sauce boil together with the meatballs, in a pan or skillet.

  3. Cook egg noodles according to the instructions on the pack. Then rinse in cold water.

  4. Fry onion, sliced bell pepper and spinach in oil. Add the noodles and Fermented Soy & Chili Paste and mix well.

  5. Serve the fried noodles in high sided plates and top with the meatballs and sauce. Garnish with the sliced scallions and sesame seeds.
